Best Milk E-Liquid of 2017 | ZampleBox E-Liquid Awards

When Did Vaping Start? | ZampleBox Vape School

Put fruit flavors to a vote, and strawberry wins almost every time. Nobody can quite explain why. Blueberry, peach and mango all have loyal fans, but strawberry is the one people keep coming back to.

So when it came time to name the Best Milk E-Liquid of the 2017 ZampleBox E-Liquid Awards, the result was no surprise. Every flavor in the Moo E-Liquids line is well blended, rich and delicious, but it was the strawberry that took the prize.

Short version: Moo E-Liquids won Best Milk E-Liquid of 2017 with Strawberry Milk. Moo is not sold in our shop today, but creamy strawberry and milkshake-style flavors are.

The winner: Moo E-Liquids Strawberry Milk

Moo E-Liquids built its line around flavored milk, from blueberry to banana. Our Moo E-Liquids review has tasting notes on five of them, and Strawberry Milk was one of the standouts there as well.

A milk flavor lives or dies on balance. The strawberry has to taste like real fruit, and the milk has to be smooth and creamy without turning heavy. When the two blend well, you get something close to a cold glass of strawberry milk: sweet, a little fruity and mellow enough to vape all day.

Why strawberry keeps winning

Strawberry is one of the most flexible notes in vape juice. It works on its own, over ice and in candy, and it shines with cream, custard and milk, where its bright, slightly tart edge cuts through the richness.

It also turns up in more than one 2017 winner, including our Best Custard and Best Cream picks. For the year before, see our 2016 Best Milk award.

Finding a flavor like it today

Moo E-Liquids is not sold in our shop today, so treat this award as a record of the 2017 results and a guide to the style. If a strawberry milk sounds good, look for bottles that pair strawberry with cream, vanilla or milkshake notes.

  • Give creamy juices time. Many cream and milk flavors taste fuller after a short rest. Our guide on how to steep your e-liquid explains how.
  • Watch your coils. Sweet, creamy juices can build up on a coil faster than lighter flavors. If the taste goes flat or burnt, check when to change your vape coils.
  • Check the PG/VG ratio. It changes the throat hit and the vapor, so pick one that suits your device. What are PG and VG? covers the basics.

In the Zamplebox Club, you can rate notes like strawberry and cream when you set up your flavor profile, and each month’s box follows your taste. Here is how to fine-tune that profile.
