Victory Liquid – Best Candy Vape – E-Liquid Awards 2016
Checkered Flag from Victory Liquid won Best Candy Vape in the 2016 ZampleBox E-Liquid Awards. It wasn’t the brand’s first time among our winners.
Victory Liquid is not sold on our site today, so this post is the record of that win and a guide to candy flavors you can still find here.
Short version: Victory Liquid, established in 2013, took Best Candy Vape of 2016 with Checkered Flag. A year earlier, it won Best Tobacco and finished runner-up in both dessert and fruit in our 2015 awards.
Why Victory Liquid won
Established in 2013, Victory Liquid built its reputation on a simple rule: offer nothing but the finest e-liquids on the market. That focus had already paid off with us. In the 2015 ZampleBox E-Liquid Awards, the brand won Best Tobacco and was runner-up in both the dessert and fruit categories.
In 2016, it added a candy title. Placing in tobacco, dessert, fruit and candy says a lot about a brand’s range, because those families ask very different things of a flavor maker.
The name fits, too. A checkered flag is what waves at the finish line, a fitting badge for a brand called Victory.
What makes a great candy vape
Candy is one of the most fun flavor families, and one of the easiest to overdo. The standouts tend to share a few traits:
- A recognizable candy. Hard candy, gummies, taffy and cotton candy each have their own character, and the best juices capture one clearly.
- Balanced sweetness. Sweet enough to taste like a treat, but not so sweet that it wears you out by the afternoon.
- A crisp finish. A good candy vape doesn’t leave a syrupy aftertaste behind.
- The right match for your device. Candy flavors come in both freebase and salt nic versions, so pick the one that suits your setup. Our guide to nicotine salts explains the difference.
Sweet juices can also gunk up coils faster than lighter flavors. If the flavor fades or hits taste burnt, check our guides on when to change your vape coils and why your vape tastes burnt.
One more thing: candy flavors are made for adult vapers. Store every bottle out of reach of children and pets.

If you’d like candy flavors picked for you, the Zamplebox Club curates a monthly box of vape juice around the flavor notes you rate highest. You can swap any bottle before it ships, mark favorites, and skip or pause whenever you like.
